Superdry Steel and Black

Hi boys and girls. Superdry have introduced their latest fragrances its collection, both of which are being marketed as travel sized bottles ideal for your holidays or your gym bag. Superdry Steel and Black have been, "developed for a day-to-night appeal".

Both the Steel and black bottles have the same rectangular compact design with a really cool "Zippo" style opening lid. Both come in well presented but simple boxes with hidden magnetic latches.

Superdry Steel.

Top notes: Lime, Bergamot
Mid notes: Cardamom, Violet Leaves
Base notes: Cedarwood, Moss

Steel starts with a real fresh citrus scent; the slight sourness of the lime mixes well with the orange and slightly minty smell of the bergamot. This changes over the day into a pleasant mildly spicey and light floral scent which finishes in a lightly woody and relaxing grassy scent of the moss and cedarwood. This is perfect for the day, fresh in the morning, turning a little spicy and ending on a relaxing note.

Superdry Black.

Top notes: Lime, Fruits
Mid notes: Lavender, Thyme, Jasmine, Coriander, Nutmeg
Base notes: Sandalwood, Balsam, Incense, Leather, Moss

Black is a beautiful rich evening/night fragrance, fresh yet relaxing and calming. It starts with the sweet scent of the fruits which blend into an aromatic mix of floral, nutty and herbal scents. The Sandalwood reminds me of freshly cut wood and the Balsam complements the sandalwood, incense and the grassy scent of the moss. The leather matures this fragrance making it a masculine fragrance, and appealing to the modern man.

Both Steel and Black (£29.50) have well designed packaging and 40ml bottles. I'm already a fan of Superdry Dry fragrances and they have come up with another two nice fragrances to add to their collection.
